Parent and Child Rights

Children and parents have a fundamental right to have free access to each other. Currently, state and federal government denies children and parents this right routinely and without any crimes being committed. Alienating a child from their parent has been found to negatively impact the child to the point that such forced separation is considered child abuse by psychologists. There are many great organizations championing this cause. The ones I am most involved in are:

National Parents Organization

Parents United US

A Kids Right

I have a journal of my experience of going through Family Court and if you may be going through a family court issue in the future or are going though one now, the journal may help you navigate what to do, what not to do, the feelings you may go through, and how to cope. Having your child kept and alienated from you may feel torturous both because of your loss and your inability protect your child from their loss. I hope this journal can help those that suffer through a similar situation and let them know they are not alone. The situation is all too common and all those who care about the welfare to the American Family should help to convince the powers that be to reform family law.

The journal identifies the judges, administrators, parties, attorneys, etc involved and I don't have the bravery of fellow advocate Dan Brewington.  Due to Ohio's law against "Publication of Private Facts" I cannot make the journal public at this time but if you would like private access for the reasons above and you don't plan to publish the information, feel free to contact me for access.

If you are an alienated parent and want help don't hesitate to reach out. If you are in Stark County please join us at Stark County Parents United. Otherwise still feel free to contact me and include your phone number if you would like a call.
